Hehe, you dislike the midi quality? well in my opinion the music sounds better with midi then the instruments for finale. especially with fast going music like this, the attack on the strings is not precise enough. but i uploaded a mp3 so you can listen. MySpace.com - SimenN - NO - Classical / Classical - www.myspace.com/simenn , ps the basso continuo is to high when it plays with orchestra and to low when it has the solo Hope you like it

Simon

It is obvious that you like Baroque music. I suggest you add the link to the mp3 in your original post.

I am not a finale user, but I know that with work you can get better sounds out of it than what you have here. Listen to any piece by Qccowboy( he posts here). He does all of his work thru Finale and gets good results.

In this one you have way too much reverb which is hiding the violin a lot. It takes a lot of cc work and dynamic markings to get finale to sound right, but it can be done.

The piece itself shows your influences very well.

For only doing classical music for a year, this is a very nice piece.

I liked it.
