you know, there's nothing avant-garde with trance, and not too much electronic, i might be a dumb-ass, but, i don't know, trance is rather pop, or well, simply dance music, hey, don't mind me, i'm in a bad mood and drunk...
just- i love avant-garde. -------- and trance , for that case, is farther from avant-garde than one side of a universe from the other one
cheers, zalabany :>

this side of the forum is called "Avant-garde and Electronic"
and trance is Electronic !
and if you don't believe me go check
Electronic music - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

so it is not my problem that they put the 2 far sides of the "universe" in one forum !!
and you are drunk !

thank you ..

i'm drunk again, but, hell, i'm not being such a ultraturbonaive as to go and use wikipedia as my source
well, really, all the best with your work, except that trance is nothing to do with avant-garde or electronic music, no matter what your wikiass says

but it sounds midi in here, that is electronic.
what i'm saying that by avant-garde and electronic is meant some sort of compositional/structural definition of a style, or a branch. now, by it's structural core trance is more pop, light-rock or anything, but not avant-garde and electronic, for that case.
you see if i play a melody by britney spears on my piano does it become a sonata?
trance is dance and being stricter not even a dance music, but party music, club music.
it's a incidental music. by being that it's a far far cry from being avant-garde and electronic.

but trance is a branch of electronic, along with ambient, soundscape, techno, darkwave, and many others.
