Exclamation A Walk With Willow

Hi guys,

This is a track from a media project where I made a soundtrack for a super hero movie (which doesn't exist ).

This track represents the hero's happy times with his girlfriend Willow. I opted to put it in chamber music because it's a nice song on its own and is for piano and soprano saxophone only.

The saxophone part was graciously recorded live for me by one of the most talented young performers I know of and a special thanks go out to him for that.

Enjoy!

Yes, our Mike sure knows how to blow
(referring to the guy playing the sax...)

Red face Dearest Marius,

ho ho, What a cheery melody! I can just imagine Mr. Hero skipping gaily down cobbled streets and country lanes with Willow!! I'd like it if they came down the country lanes - I might say hello. I can imagine it as a bit of a pop song too, with a singer instead of a saxophone. In fact, I thought I'd write some lyrics to fit with your little tune! Hope you don't mind.

In Willow's Head:
He's super-duper as we skip together
Down the streets and the country lanes,
I've been dreaming of you for forever
Now we're together I can't complain!

Blenching Snail:
Mr. Hero and Willow together
Down the road and around the bend,
I can't see what they see in each other
But I just know they're together to the end!
I sit on my leaf eating caaaaabbage every day
But this is a sight that I'll remember for a while
Excuse me but Mr. Hero you are a lucky fellow
Such a pretty girl with a lovely smile!

The Happy Couple:
We like to
Sing and dance when the Sun is shining bright,
We like to kiss in the morn'!
And I know one day we'll be married with kids
and maybe they, could mow the messy lawn,
Every week.

Mr. Hero: I've got to go and save the woooorld now
Willow: Please don't forget these ironed trousers
Mr. Hero: I won't I can't forget!
Willow: Or else you might regret!!
Mr. Hero: I'll love you forever like the sunshine
and when I'm flying high I'll think of you
Willow: No you won't, I know you... you'll think about a
French supermodel wearing nothing but a hat!!
Mr. Hero: I hope that this doesn't mean we're getting a separation
Willow: Darling I'm just pulling your "super legs".

The Happy Couple:
We like to
Sing and dance when the Sun is shining bright,
We like to kiss in the morn'!
And I know one day we'll be married with kids
and maybe they, could mow the messy lawn,
Every week.

Blenching Snail:
Mr. Hero where... are your pants!

Oh dear, it seems like Mr. Hero forgot his ironed trousers after all!

That was intensely creepy, but the gesture is appreciated, my confused mollusk acquaintance. You still need to get a life, but I'm glad you enjoyed the piece and that it inspired your poetic side.
