INFILTRATION!

The one is title "In Defense of Food".... at least the ones on the homepage and Wiki are music-related, that's where I first noticed them...

Guys....who cares? I can't begrudge the Mikes for trying to recoup a few costs here and there. Maintaining this thing must be expensive.

Perhaps you'll see something interesting. Otherwise, ignore them...

I actually think it's pretty cool

It might even work if they put more things that are music related up, seeing as we're all musicians, it might just benefit the site members greatly

They seem tailored to each specific user - assuming you've used Amazon before. All mine are CD's I've checked out, or books or something my wife or I have looked at...

It seems that way. Maybe this could be an advantage.

I am trying to monetize the site a bit. But I am carefully choosing products in which I think users on this site may be interested in. If you have any product suggestions, please let me know. You may notice the store, and I can advertise whichever products I want from Amazon. The wiki advertises products that I specifically recommend in the store. Regarding the ads within the forum, Amazon is supposed to choose ads according to the website content, but I will give it a few days, and if this doesn't work out and the ads are irrelevant to our content, I will change the strategy.
