did we really need a poll to find out that most people who are a part of young composers are teenagers or in their twenties? as startling as these facts are ...

Well, I am 62 going on 63. (No No No don't throw me off.)
I am young at heart - but my fingers are getting old! Started playing at 8 and have been making my family suffer ever since. My compositions are not musical, but electronic equipment designs - but I envy all of you who can make such wonderful music. I will just visit, listen and throw my 2 cents in from time to time.
BTW - if any of you want exposure to a wide range of music - check out "Piano Today" magazine. I have no financial interest, but it introduced me to several composers I did to know and is mix of all genres. It is sheet music - short pieces and excerpts.
