Ironic. I did not vote for Mitchell's specifically because it DIDN'T sound original to me at all. Very reminiscent of his other works and subsequently the standards of slightly old-fashioned VG music.
CA, you had some nice counterpoint going on and the piece was complex and all, but some of it felt very forced and it just didn't come off as having much depth and originality to it.
Almost identical comments for Alex's piece, only even more so than for CA's.
Schubes, therefore, got my vote; his work was the most cohesive and pleasing to listen to from the lot. Reminded me a lot of a traditional hymn and had some very interesting and tasteful harmonies. Would sound very good in a live performance.
Good luck, gentlemen
