Would anybody be upset if I started taking ideas, and weaving them together?
I could then upload what I have and we could all tweak it

If that's me taking too much control, then don't worry about it; it's just a thought. I don't see how we could all do that without it being somewhat disjointed.

Go for it - no matter what the individual participants write, it's up to the collective to decide if we use it or not. So if we don't like it we'll just not use it.

No, start writing. We need to start pushing for things to get done and we can critique and all of that.

I'll start throwing out some ideas for mov. II.

I'm pretty much shot for time for these couple days, can't do much. I was planning on working on an intro using some of the previous ideas we had... maybe even a 2nd movement intro draft, I had it in my head, but I forgot it. Anyways, it all used ideas everyone has already suggested, so same as Jamie. Jamie, go for it. If I come up with anything we can compare. We'll see...

How about, everyone use all the snippets we've gathered so far, plus anything you want to write, to come up with pretty developed ideas (use most of the instruments, several phrases) and post them here over the next few days. We'll look at them, decide which pieces we want for each movement of our piece, and then from there it's just write it, polish it, finish it. Boom, boom, boom.

Sounds good and fair.

... so we have basically now become a planning and suggestions committee.
