Sorry siaming, smartty posted first. He says he's new, so if he drops out, you're in.

And we're off!

The midi seems a bit fast, I'd appreciate it if you slowed down the tempo to about 90

Thanks for letting me in!

But if the slaming wants to be in, too, why can't we just make it a quintet with a Bass?

With the contrabass? I don't see why not. The only thing I'm worried about is that the piece might get too heavy. We should judiciously omit an instrument or two along the way, so the whole thing doesn't end up sounding too monotonous.

I got rid of Bluey's first note, which was an A, because it made the piece sound like it was started a beat earlier. Paganani had a pickup, two eighth notes, and when Bluey added that quarter note pickup, it made the eighth notes pickup sound like the first beat, so I eliminated it. Other than that, I kept to my part.

I used a violin patch intead of a viola patch, by the way. Viola patch in GM sounds like crud.
I left a dissonance of a major second, creating what would be assumed to be an A7 chord with violin II (be nice if 'cello could supply that lower A), so that's gonna need a resolution into the next measure. Just giving a heads up.

There's nothing wrong with starting a beat earlier!
My poor A ...

And I liked how you imitated my mordent one beat later
And after thelast beat of measure 5, when it plays that high, it sounds somewhat very different. We must wait for the cello...

Oh I just tried an A on the last note with the cello, and "OH GOD" that sounds awesome awesome awesome awesome
We absolutely need an "A" down there!!!!
Don't let us down Smarty...
