This section is sounding rather fugal. . . . . . . . . . . .

Actually, I don't think there is enough room for 'cello here, fauzie might have to skip these eight measures, it might get too thick. It's fine the way it is, if you can add on, fauzie, without making it sound to thick, you're welcome to try, but it might be hard. If you skip this last set of eight measures, which I advise you do, you can go on and write next eight measures for two parts instead of one, since it's your turn to write the next eight anyways, which would make the total of sixteen that you would normally complete. Your choice. Hope I didn't confuse you.

Hymn-like contrasting middle section for a while anyone? Maybe we could put it together like a really slow fugue? We're gonna have to learn to modulate, though. If anybody wants to try and write a modulation for all four parts, maybe a couple measures at the most, we could get a head start in a new key and do the middle section now. Unless you all think we could do it the normal way, each write one part. Just gonna have to be careful.

Next 8 measures ...

I think we seriously need a form ... It starts to sound like.. well... a piece written by 4 different composers

Let's try a modulation should we?

Alright... added 6 or seven more bars... viola or somebody can have a nice little feature for a few bars, maybe poke at the original theme a little bit... I threw the whole thing in G major now, it was kind of heading that way anyways. We'll have to be careful about coming up with too much new material, or be aware of form. I suppose we're in a trio of sorts right now... some sort of development, so let's see what happens.

Mission: Modulate.
Status: From D minor tonic to G major subdominant-ish... Success!
Now where do we go?
