Harrison: "Rondeau, in Honor of Fragonard" from Varied Trio, trans. for Viola and Piano
Lou Harrison's Varied Trio for Violin, Piano and Percussion is one of my favorite works, not least of all for the pastoral, beguiling rondeau which Harrison incorporates for solo violin and piano as the 4th of 5 movements. It's perhaps unorthodox of me to post a simple transcription, but I think that the value of the work itself is so great that it can't hurt to provide a little more exposure.
Also, violists will like it. :<

Transcriptions require a huge deal of patience, work and dedication, so kudos to you for that. But I'm guessing what you did is actually an arrangement rather than a simple 'transcription', since you rearranged the violin part for viola, thus changing the original instrumentation (I'm unfamiliar to Harrison's work, but am guessing that movement ommits percussion altogether). Anyway, you're right in exposing it - very enjoyable music.
