The Angel of Love for chamber ensemble

This is one of my most sincere compositions. I wrote it back in 2003 as a birthday present for my then girlfriend and also as a comission response from chamber ensemble MD7. So the instrumental cast is flute, clarinet, trombone, piano, percussion, viola and cello.
The title was selected by the fact I consider number seven as the "Angel number". There are seven performers and it takes about seven minutes for performance. And the girl was the picture of an Angel.
I will not explain stylistic and formal approaches in music. That's up to you.

The funny thing is we are both married to another person. But we all four are good friends!
I am having two lovely daughters (4 and 2 years old) and the "Angel girl" has a six month old baby girl.
I really like this piece and the experimental style! It kind of reminds me of Prokofiev in some ways.
The only criticism I have are the corny angel pictures on the youtube video, Lol

(I wonder what your 'Angel' girlfriend had to say about her birthday present - not every girl has a boyfriend capable of composing and getting a piece performed on her behalf).
Yet again, congrats... The more I'm knowing your music, the more I respect your achievements. Thanks for sharing!
