Bagatelle for flute duo

Bagatelle

Final

Finally, another upload by you. Pitifully, without an audio file. Nevertheless, a handwritten score is very telling of your craftmanship, as are the performance notes before the actual score.
Hi!
I do wish you had an audio file, but I can do without. It's really an interesting work, when i look at it. Your use of fluttertongue and vibrato variation will be effective :) I think that a real flute should be able to do this and sound quite nice. I don't see any issues at all, which is not normal for me. I think it's quite flute like, and a really wonderful job here!

Keep it up!

It is so pretty.
*sighs* I have hand-writing envy. Someday, I need to upload a pdf of one of my handwritten scores. It looks like a toddler got hold of a stave book and proceeded to put random stuff on it

I can't truly sightread this, but I think I kind of get the gist of it. This is what I imagine an algorithm book sounds like when set to music. There are moments of traditional-ish harmony, kind of like passing incidentals, but for the most part, I looks avant-garde-ish.

Will there be a performance of it we can hear sometime?
Nice trick...making unreadable music to avoid critics...You must have said this after seeing the finished handwritten work : " I'm such a Vincent Persichetti!"

(Tip : Always remember ugly handwriting will not make you a good composer).
Thanks for the kind words Fred: I myself didn't like how the piece turned out, but I didn't realize some people would enjoy it so much! I'll keep you in tune with my future compositions since I have an avid fan of my music now.

Phil is a tricky one, that's for sure.
XD Too confusing... Its kinda messy for my eyes. No offense, though :-D
So, did this ever get performed? No recording?

To be quite honest: I wrote this thing in like a week (quite abnormal considering how deliberate I normally am) barely in time to make it in time for college portfolios. I'm not interested in getting it performed, but I have some great flute samples: I might do a mockup on a rainy day (mind you, I live in California).
