Persistence of Memory

Persistence in the baseline, memory because the melody is always the same.
" You must add more texture to your work while ofcourse at the same time not jeopardize your motif, then again your motif perhaps dictates exactly the way your work resulted. My mistake! "
I like it, but I think this guy is remembering the same stuff too many times!
I reckon this could make a really nice classical piece if you added in some pedal in the right places. To be honest, I think this piece is good, but is only a start. If you use some of the ideas from this piece to establish another piece that is more subtle, with a bit of pedal, then it could sound much nicer. Also maybe add some more loud and soft, to make some more contrast. Personally, I think this kind of piece is one of the hardest types, as it means persistent memory, without getting boring. This may require lots and lots of practice in composing similar works and I advise you come back to tackle this kind of thing in a few months or so. Your choice entirely.
I hope this helps.
