Prelude (and bonus piece)
1 Votes
Something I composed the other day...
As always, fantastic. I love the prelude. I especially enjoyed the second section their, the melody is so haunting and separate from the accompaniment, yet still totally intertwined. Good piece.
Although, I do feel like the transition into back to the A section is a little abrupt and creates this pure ABA feel. I think you could really be smoother in that instance.
The 'bonus piece' was very interesting, Renaissance-like in its flavor. As for the 'Prelude', I'd say Morgri pretty much sumed it up; it has something very 'modern' on it. Good work!
Thank you both! I'll see if I can find another way for the transition to the reprise though I must admit that I like the contrast at the point of the transition as it is now.
