Conferencia Subacuatica

(re-post from 2010).... inspired in a previews work "Extraterrestrial Conference Op.23"
Conferencia Subacuatica Op.26 (Underwater Conference)
I didn't want to create a mere mix of real underwater sounds, because when you do descriptive music, and you use a recording of what you're describing .. well that's not very much effort right ? so I wanted to create the sounds with synthesizers to make it real electronic music, although there are real samples of whale sounds, those are the only elements I didn't want to construct, (fake them actually), so the whale sounds are real, the rest of sounds are synthesizers, even the starting sound. All Created with FL Studio 9
The structure is similar to the other conference, is ABCABC form, and about the same length.
(00:00 - 01:19) & (6:00 - 7:17)
Is about the mysticism, darkness and coldness of the deep sea.
(01:20 - 05:11) & (7:18 - 10:00)
Is the uncommon beauty of the deep sea, its creatures and surfaces.
(05:12 - 05:50) & (10:01 - 11:35)
Is how Imposing and Mighty the deep ocean can be.
A key for finding underwater synthetic sounds, was to make the generators to play very low notes, making everything very slow.
I have always had the wish of making a video for this, with deep ocean videos, but how can I deal with rights ? I'm certainly not the owner of those videos, how can I use them ?

Thank you, and I know, the advertisement was for the gross of YC
The ABCACB might work, but the stronger part had to be at the end, and this fff part is the one with more modifications in the repeat, the others are practically the same.
I'm glad you liked, you should try a bit of electronic, might end in something interesting, if not, don't post it, no big deal

Interesting composition SYS65. I would have liked a smoother transition to the section starting from 1:20 and a general toning-down of the volume. Also, some of the explosive sounds don't really fit the aquatic theme as I see it or the conferential part of it, for that matter. If you haven't done already, then you should listen to some ambient music and get some ideas as your piece is very similar in style in parts.
Thanks for commenting, I think this work as a piece of music can have other elements than just underwater sounds, other sound that may describe a feeling of the underwater view you suppose to have, for instance the loud part I picture it as an attack of an agressive fish to others, similar to a shark attack, just some other deep sea creature. There are also sounds of what could be a thunder falling into the water surface but heard from the underwater.
No I haven't listened any ambient music that could be similar to my piece, I am not very much into ambient music, but I can search for some.
You think is too loud ? I actually boosted it +1 dB just before uploading in here

Yes, I do think it is louder than it should be. I think that the title you chose is not the most appropriate (Denizens of the Deep or something like that would be more appropriate perhaps). An underwater conference sounds to me as something mystical, introspective and "intellectual". Your piece has some of these qualities, but I think it is also unnecessarily energetic.
Steve Roach is a very interesting composer of ambient music. Here's for example a track from his CD "The Magnificent Void".
