Winters Dream - Woodwind Quintet for February, 2012 contest
1 Votes
My piece submission for the February contest, with the topic of winter. I choose to use two flutes, a Bb clarinet, a bass clarinet and a bassoon.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
I didn't realize that I forgot to add the tempo marks... as for dynamic marks - it was mainly due to only deciding on the actual dynamics during the mixing process of the audio, rather than while writing the score...
Thanks for listening, and I'll be glad to hear your comments!
Have a great day!

I'll restrain myself from commenting, but I have one suggestion:
You should write bass clarinet one octave higher, like a regular clarinet. It will sound octave lower.

sojar, that isnt necessary since it is a score in C right? (that should have been noted, but you could have seen that because of the accidentals)
Jrcramer, if that's so, then I don't get the point of bass clarinet being in treble clef.
Sojar's right.
But, only about his last comment.
Concert score Bass Clarinet is written in the Bass clef.
Concert score Bass Clarinet is written in the Bass clef.
Even I have comments for this one, and I usually say nothing and i'm slightly intoxicated... I assume they are the same as other people's though.

But -- I must point out that you seem to have ommited any tempo or dynamics marks throughout your piece. Was this on purpose?
