String trio in d minor

Very interesting. You do a good job of dispersing the main motif throughout the piece. I like how you keep reiterating it. It is a very nice and catchy motif as well. I think the ending is a little rushed and unprepared. I like parts a lot, but I am not sure I understand the direction this piece is taking. I am not sure I understand the flow and the connection between the ideas.

This is a real recording isn't it? Who is performing and where did it get recorded?

Thanks for the review, RRR! I understand where you're coming when you say the development is difficult to understand. The idea was to make a transaction between two very different musical ideas. So you could say the connection is that it's not connected. I didn't develop te piece further, because it's I wanted the piece to develop from the one idea to the next as abrubt as I thought fitting. I think the connection is more in what the music represents. Like going from not knowing someone to being very much in love within a week. This difference feels sometimes very disconnected to me. The way I looked at the girl I fel in love with when I first met her is completely different from the way I see her a week later, you know?

I think it would be better if the two theme's would connect a little better concerning the motives.

It's actually not a recording. I made this with the Vienna Symphonic Library. With some compression and reverb the results are pretty good I'd agree.
