Peace For Guidosan
This is an avant garde harp solo recorded at Pogo Studios in Champaign, Illinois
by Shirley Meyer Blankenship.

Thank you Austenite for your kind words and yes it is a companion piece. I only have a fragmented score-sorry. You seem to grasp my work very well and so Congrats to you also!
I was struck by the quality of this piece, although I don't usually listen to music like this I found it pleasant on the ear and I think you got the balance between unusual techniques and pretty harmonic fragments just right. It was a strangely relaxing listen. The sound of the harp and the recording itself was most special for me - the instrument sounds very beautiful in this recording. Thanks for sharing.
I think it sounds good, but I second that we need a score. Fragments are better than nothing. We are here to learn of each other!

I'm sorry to see that we have not a score of this one either (at least we were able to see the Waltz's score, albeit in a separate thread). But anyways, thanks for sharing the pair, being as they are very heartfelt pieces while also showcasing extended techniques and accurate writing (who said you can't be poignant and avant-gardish at once?)... Congrats!
