Little Prelude In E Minor No.11

Just listened to it :)Perhaps I'd say attempting to capture the substance of the divine with this short music stamp is a bit overambitious
. But nevertheless the piece seems structured and communicative, with a certain Baroque-ish flavor due to the use of the harpsichord and the way the musical lines are used. The work goes mostly for a controlled, balanced mood - but the trills at the beginning feel rather out of place as a result, as they seem to foreshadow a sense of chaos that ultimately doesn't happen at all. Keep on composing
Thank you Austenite for your kind review. You may be right about the trills at the beginning, i tried to include in a mere small prelude as much awe as i could which can explain the prematurity you speak of as an unavoidable side-effect. As for the capturing of the divine substance, your right but i also think all baroque music is automatically able to convey the divine since it is quite unavoidable taking into question religion & the very heaven-like personality of baroque music. Much thanks Austenite, your reviews are most of the time on the money!
(Kriztoval Luzius Amadat Krizzagrim -- this name is awesome, by the way
I have no criticism -- I think it's a perfect little morsel of dazed insanity.
Thank you for sharing! =)
I have to admit ... I really love your style. It is undeniably quirky, and in just the right ways, at least for me. You really have a thing for trippy music that conjures up very weird, psycho-ish emotions, and even trains of thought. It never once comes across as contrived -- I believe every note.(Kriztoval Luzius Amadat Krizzagrim -- this name is awesome, by the way
I wish I had a name half that awesome ... *sighs*)I have no criticism -- I think it's a perfect little morsel of dazed insanity.Thank you for sharing! =)
Thank you very very much SergeOfArnivillage, this is by far the best review of my music. It took many names to finally arrive at that final pseudonymn, thank you! My pleasure to share my music with people who appreciate it & perhaps i may say the art of virtue which is a tie with baroque music as was quite inescapable back in the 17th century, at least i may & can say this this once.
Hi there Marzique Bordex. I really liked your piece, I think the sheer speed of it is what made it so unique and fun to my ears, and gives it its charm. I also enjoyed the syncopated rhythm in the bass at the start of the piece. It definitely has a frantic feel and I wouldn't say it described my picture of heaven (more like a church on fire!), although I can see where you are coming from when you said the 'sparkle of divine water'. The piece is definitely sparkly. I'd imagine it is fun to play too.
Thanks much Howdjadoo, I'm very glad you liked it. You described it perfectly(sparkly) along with SergeOfArnivillage(phychoish, morsel of dazed insanity, & trippy), I recently do use syncopation for these type of pieces to give it charm & luminescence. I appreciate your kind review, thanks friend!
nice one marzique!
