A good day to you all here on this site,
A few months ago I got asked to write some music for a Visual Novel that some people were working on. A Visual Novel or VN in short is basically a book/comic that you "play". you have choices to make, lot of text to read and the whole is rather static but often gorgeous with backgrounds and stuff. This particular piece of music is one of the few that I finished as yet...and it's music to accompagne a night-scene....a rather serene and calm setting.
Enjoy.

This sounds a bit more like it's happening as the sun is setting over the horizon. like a mom is singing a lullaby to her child. Beautiful as it is, (And I love it. Believe me!) I think it needs to sound a little more mysterious, which would definitely add a better shade of darkness to the piece. Seeing as it is already done though, you should compose a sunlight scene. Good luck with the visual novel thingie.

It's a very relaxing, calm piece, very appropiate for a peaceful nightly setting (although at times a bit too "sunny" perhaps - there's not a clue of such a thing as darkness). I can imagine an old lady reading with a candle at her bedside, as seen through a window
Thanks for sharing this piece - hopefully you will get a few others done for this collection as well. BTW, I'm curious about "visual novels"...
