If I could Write Words
I wrote this song last night and today for my comp class. I hope that you all like it
never wrote a solo before hahahaha.
This is kind of sad and whimsical and the voices give a good texture for that type of mood. The keyboard is a little repetitive, yet I know what you are trying to create; the atmosphere right? Nice work
I don't know how you can improve it. It just flies out of my mind. It's quite beautiful and eccentric ^^
Thank you very much, that means a lot. The piano is repetitive for two reasons first of all yes I like just the easy flow of it, it reminds me of what love is. Kind of flowing in the summer wind is what I picture love to be. the second reason to keep a part of the song consistent and simple, I am a big fan of melody and simplicity in music. I didn't want the piano to stick out so yes atmosphere as well I suppose
. I get to hear it preformed this coming monday by my friend so I hope it sounds good to others as it does to me.
Very nice piece - good atmosphere!
I can't help but be amused at the irony of writing lyrics to a song entitled 'if I could write words'

LOL IKR? That made me smile as well.. while reading it I was like dang it you are writing words, what is this non sense of if you could write words???
Oh my gosh! You were trying to show love
<3 YOU ARE AWESOME! KEEP GOING! I think I can picture this!!
You make me smile
Thank you very much Dina
I love it! It reminds me a lot of "Unchained Melody." Some really nice chord changes in there, great flowing melody. I do have a few comments:
1. It is a gorgeous melody, but I would slow it down 2-6 bpm.
2. At the very beginning (about 15 seconds in), there is a large leap in the voice. Those are very difficult to accomplish (especially at faster tempos), much more so than if it were an instrument - just something to be aware of.
3. At about 1:34, you have two P5 leaps up into the higher range of the voice. I would recommend starting on beat 3 and making those both quarter notes. (They are 8ths right now, correct?) It would be more dramatic, and make it easier for the singer. High notes are hard!
Hope to hear more from you soon, this is some great stuff.

Oh wow. Gorgeous. I don't think that this is melancholy, but should be perceived more as a love note that says "My love knows no description by words, only feelings that can be felt." Wonder if anyone else thought of it that way.
Thank you very much, both of you for those comments.
I like the idea of things being more dramatic, I am kind of a fan of that Zachary1006. I will take a look at that for sure. Thank you imperial Flute that is why I liked this poem. Love is something that can not be explained through words and that is how it should be!
I agree with you all here that it reminds me also of Unchanged Melody. This is such a nice piece you have shared and we are looking forward here to see more of your compositions you have here.
Thank you very much for the kind compliment Monique!
