Two Pieces of Controlled Noise
Scores are here: http://www.scribd.co...ntrolled-Noise. Overexplaining is here: http://terrafalsa.wo...ic-composition/
These two works are written similarly – starting from some sort of written score or plan and moving from there directly to recording. The first, Boris, is a self-contained scribble leading to the main melodic features. Beautiful//Horrible started as http://forum.youngco...ive-me-a-pitch/ and moved beyond, moving outside to inward.

I'm so glad there are strings in this and not just some loving sssshhhhhhhh boooockckckchkchck whhhooooooooooooshhhhhhhhhhhh. Great work!
I bet you're the kinda guy that tapes headphones toa scrafty old acoustic guitar and
runs it into Max/MSP. Nothing wrong with that, I'm not judging you, just categorizing.
Also sometimes the noise sounds like laser beams from a Flash Gordon serial sonification. That is a compliment.
I also suggest maybe that you implement some filters. I don't know if you can hear but there is a LOT of static and noise in this sound file. It is REALLY GROSS. EWW. GET A LIFE, NERD!
Boris(rough)
So you think reverse delay and playing the guitar(?) is COOOOOOoOooOoOOOoooOOooOOooOOOL?
and boy was that rough. about as rough as boris would be in the back of a transvestite hoehouse in st. petersburg (Florida not Russia)
