This piece was written about someone very close to me. I am not the greatest piano player so the piece isnt very complex, though i spent many hours carefully picking each note to be sure to truely express myself. Comments and some advise please and thank you.

Very few composers bother themselves to actually think about placing each single note, so kudos to you for that.

Your description of the piece is quite accurate: "simplicity" and "carefulness" are the two best words for it. Yet these are also the reasons for which the work packs a very little "punch", at least in emotional terms. The thematic material does not come to the fore enough, and that makes it a bit hard to recognize. I'd hope you to rework this piece aiming to correct this
