Although I am not Serbian, I felt a great sympathy and empathy for the people of Serbia when NATO started pouring bombs on a European country of great historical heritage. This is an old composition (1999) which I wrote initially for organ and voice and later transcribed it for piano

Thank you for your sympathy on behalf of all Serbs. I am the father of a young composer Veljko Nenadic, who was only 8 months when it started bombing Serbia. Hiding in damp basements and dusty, then, I never dreamed that Veljko doing music. Your composition is good, but the recording is very quiet.
