Keyboard Improv
An exposition of thematic material along with transitions in between
Influenced by a range of styles - minimalism - romantic - classical/baroque - impressionism
No real program to it - just exploring -
Enjoy.

I agree with Robert. This felt as a set of improvs, but quite direction-less. Composition (as opposed to improv) is what you do with those themes, how to combine them.
These 5 files maybe could work as 5 stand alone miniatures, there is, albeit sparse, some motivic cohesion, sometimes it looked like something you could work with, interesting modal figures, a jazzy fragment, but sometime it was only a rather cliche progression.
One final remark, a through-composed piece is not a (random?) collection of themes, but it merely signifies that there is no strophic structure. But there is a structure nonetheless. I feel that is what missing here.
I hope this helps

My suggestion would be to attempt to break this into two or even three different pieces where you can use two or three ideas and interweave them together, coming back to them after a while (which should improve the sense of direction and help you to build a recognizable work).
