Quick Fugue

A short fugue for String Quartet that I wrote today. Obviously I've been listening to too much Bach and Handel lately...

Intersting in that you have some direct 5ths and octaves heard in the 2 voices at times as well as a few twists in your voice leading once in awhile - giving it a very neo-baroque, folksy sound. Was that intentional?
Hey! This is simply lovely! I enjoyed the interplay of the voices. I do so love fugues because of that.

I appreciate your attempt and successful endeavor of incorporating a fresh look on the Neo-Baroque world. You seem to be writing very idiomatically for the strings. I am not used to that voicing because I don't usually write for that ensemble. Great piece! And, I agree with CO on all points, and I echo his question.
I don't think the folksy thing was intentional but is surely was intentional to be Neo-Baroque.

Well, you succeeded! haha. Good job.
