Violinsonata in g minor

Hello you all,
This is one of my biggest finished projects to date. I started it at the end of 2006 and completed it around summer 2007. It's a 4 movement violinsonata. The first thing I wrote is the scherzino 3th part of the sonata. A thrilling piece in a 7/8 metre that bounces and dances. I then decided that this piece could be part of a bigger structure. I composed the first movement next, which is almost a perpetuum mobile, I was especially proud back then of the integration of several themes and how to balance them between the violin and the piano. Then I started to sketch the second movement and had discarded a few melodies already. I knew I wanted it to be in A flat major and that it had to glide into the scherzino without a break. Lastly I wrote a set of variations on a theme very much reminiscent of the first movement. All the principal themes in the 3 g-minor movements are interrelated and based on the same upward 3th interval. as a curiosity I'll also upload the 3th movement without the 2nd preceding it.
Enjoy
The whole sonata is performed by finale 2007
The scherzino only is performed by finale 2005.

The violin and the piano just falls in really sharply I just love it. I agree with you on that 100%.
This has got to be one of the best pieces I've heard since listening to Chopin a while ago. Nice work on writing this out. For an older piece it's awesome.
