Symphonic Poem no. 2
Concert arrangement adapted from a short film score I did some time back. I think it counts as a Symphonic Poem if it's inspired by film. ;-)
Anyway, have a listen I'd love to know what you think of it. Thanks.

The 1:20 pause was fantastic. I felt like in a philharmonic orchestra.
2:35 what an amazing chord! Congratulations! Great ear!
It was a great listen with a lot of creativity. If I had to find something I didn't like, I felt like some duplet to triplet rhythm changes were distracting and didn't flot as well.
Nonetheless, I was impressed. Congratulations again.

5:45-5:50, a very "classic" move, very nicely done as well! Sounds just right.

This piece has some potential. I will try to be brief.
1) Add tempo markings. If I were conducting this, I probably wouldn't have taken your tempi
2) You have too many undeveloped melodies. You have three movements here if you were to actually develop them deeper which would turn this into at least a twelve-minute piece.
3) There is no reason for II Violins to rest in the beginning. Double them up.
4) Where you have the solo violin in the first, make a new line for the solo and split your diads within the two sections of the strings instead of diads in the seconds.
Hope this helps!
