Another Invitation to Score an Animation

* * * * * 1 Votes

Hello Guys!

Please check my website to check the latest score that I have made for a short 2D/3D animation film (it's just a 2:26 sec film).

Attached it's just the soundtrack for the film, so PLEASE WATCH THE FILM FIRST :)

I hope you guys enjoy!!! :D

Thanks in advance,
Gonzalo Martins

I enjoyed the music; much more than I enjoyed the film (the story was blocky with no point to it and the animation didn't make sense, a lot of the time, e.g., pulling the curtain open, the last visible card in the deck being wrong way round, and the bad animation of the drinking of the tea, not to mention the fact that it changed colour). It sounds very expertly done, to me. The sudden shifts make it sound very suitable for children's cartoons or for some kind of high-budget video game. The theme reminds me a little of Tchaik's Sugar-Plum Fairy. I thought you nailed the credit music and I love the orchestration.

In a word: excellent.
I didn't get the first invitation :(
@wayne-scales
Thank you very much mate for the nice feedback. I know what you mean about the animation quality...well ... that was made by just one person under 3 months...and aparently animating 2D is harder then 3D lool...but thanks for the detailed and constructive feedback :)
