Thanks, yeah I'll check that "Thursday Afternoon" ...
I suppose I could extend this twice or even more ...15 minutes ? I have other pieces like this, one is 7min I think, other is 13, I will surely do one more of these tracks, I'll keep in mind what you said.
This is the quena, just mine is 7 holes front + 1 back

I do like the background I just wish you varied a little more one of the parameters rather than just having it mark the harmony change. For an example check Eno's Thursday Afternoon where background overtakes foreground and vice versa a rather cool piece of ambient music.
Around 3:30 is something of what I am speaking of but slowed down the change of background for a much longer time.
I also wonder, the melodies though good and quite pleasant (like the pan pipes (?) very nicely done) get a little derivative - as I said sort of like Vangelis if he only knew how to write good counterpoint and more interesting melodies. Not saying you would have to go much farther but a little more.
Now at 5:19 I like what you do settling on the cadence you could easily extend the piece - I hear the slight sound of raindrops after the chord - you could easily take what you had and stretch out certain parts and speed up a few fragments if you'd like to do another piece.
Overall - very well done but so much room to generate more pieces from the first one. Also check Thursday Afternoon for some ideas of playing with foreground and background.
