Stricter-sounding fugues are underrated, I think (and I say this despite the fact I'm not a fan of many fugues, save a few Bach fugues and Beethoven's 4th Movement of his Hammerklavier, which is utterly masterpiece-material) It's fun to just have a free-form and do what you want, and indeed, it can result in great music. But you really nailed the sound of a strict, by-the-book fugue, and it turned out amazing! Always pleasant and clear in phrasing, and good use of separate voices, as far as I can tell. (Let's remember that pleasantness in music can still be a good thing
