Fugue in Eb minor; "Car Fugue"

A fugue for harpsichord, written as part of a series of fugues to listen to while I'm driving.

Rather odd and cool. Now was the intention to seem to fall into a Baroque fugue and then tear it apart? I mean it really works well - how you fragment portion of the themes into irruglar beat units for your sequences. And the harmonies! Lovely chromaticisms.

I would to love more about how you put it together and how much you know about fugue. Either you know a lot and this novel reinterpretation and warping of the form is intentional or you are new to fugue but have played quite a bit of Baroque music and modern stuff.

Either way, I love the results.
Ha! - definitely goes in some directions I was not expecting which keeps the interest. Nicely done.
