I finally learned how to make glide notes and might've overused them a bit 😅 the main chords that you hear in the start are made of music notes, and then adds harpsichord and piano. the song itself kind of sounds medieval from my instrument choice but that's kind of on purpose. I added an arpeggio and an octave change to the chorus to add some needed depth too.

this is by far my best work. I first thought of something like witch town when all I had was the barebones chorus and it didn't really sound that good for a piece, but it was all I had. then I thought of night of the small town but I wanted some synonyms so I thought of dawn of the city. the whole song gives off some halloween- ish vibes but Its way past that competition

took me about 5 days and probably around 4 - 6 hours in total

Here's an unlisted video of a track from another album I wrote themed around crime/spy thrillers that will be out later this year probably via my usual publisher, but after the gothic/dark neoclassical album I wrote for them. So I'm expecting it to be out around summer or fall.

This in particular is the first electronic-driven tune I've composed in I don't know how long, since I had abandoned that genre since I wasn't really good at it (and didn't enjoy it as much as the orchestra anyway) and hate designing synth timbres, but writing this one I was kinda like

Side note: I expect most of my YouTube DAW videos going forward to be unlisted. YouTube has kind of become a joke since the AI slop takeover you just get buried in the algorithm; better use of time to just show these to film directors and such, which has been going much better anyway.

	Dear all,

(Composer's note: Below Message from Nov 2025)

Spoiler alert: It is a Christmas song. I will still write a "classical" Christmas piece but I got this idea first. Please feel free to enjoy it anytime you want.

Recently I saw a new DAW software with good AI voices (Disclaimer: just voice, not the writting part), so I wanna test it out and write a sample song for it. That turns out to be excellent (overall speaking), but sometimes the lyrics are not clearly pronounced. I might write more chroal piece with this great tool now. Feel free to tell me how it sounds!

	Overall structure of the song:-

 Orchestation: SATB + Violin

 "Quasi-Rondo" form: ABABCABA’

Strategy: Since it is meant to be a pop song, more direct development to "chorus"

 Some fun modulations involved

For this piece I made two versions. While inputting the piece with all its microtones into Musescore, it ended up sounding quite bad with all the microtones that I had included (probably owing to the fact that the piece is already quite dissonant without the microtones). So I removed all the microtones and made a version of it that's free of any microtones. That's the 1st version. Then, once I was done with that version of the piece, I went back and made a 2nd version with very light microtonal embellishments, mostly only in the melodic voices and only on minor chords (making them sub-minor in 24TET, meaning I brought the minor 3rd of minor chords down a quarter-step). My intent with using those particular microtones is to make the piece even darker than it would be if it was just a regular minor key piece. But let me know what you think about both versions and which one you like better! I welcome your comments, suggestions, critiques or just observations. Thanks for listening!

	Dear all,

I am seeing other composers to arrange pop music recently, so I give it a try. (So bored this weekend for some reason)

It is Like JENNIE by Jennie (Blackpink). It is my first time transcribing a pop song. There are no official scores available online for my reference, so I have to do it by ears.

(Tried transcribe it with Youtube-to-mp3/midi converter but that was a mess too)

If I have to say, the most difficult part is to mimic the half-singing-half-speaking voice of Jennie. Complicated rhythm and very chromatic (and nearly atonal) "melodies" that I have to do it in 0.25x. Took me almost 3 hours to complete the transcription for the 3-minute piece and did some orchestration for the another 1-2 hours.

Hope you enjoy it and please feel free to comment on it. Thank you!

I’ve been improvising all kinds of music including Movie soundtrack like parts. It’s intimidating way of working - one wrong keypress on keyboard and the recording becomes unusable.

In this EXPERIMENT below I am playing over a pre-made baseline with strings.

	Hey everyone,

Here are a few tracks from my new album aimed at TV and Film licensing. Once again focused on the action/adventure genre, but this one has a greater focus on modern cinematic music and fusions of genres from around the world. Everything from new age, to rock, to latin pop and inspired by films like National Treasure, Tomb Raider, 007, Pirates and more. Hope you all enjoy it.

Hi all! It's officially October, which means it's time for some spooky songs. Almost each year I challenge myself to make a new arrangement of John Carpenter's classic theme from Halloween. It's always been one of my absolute favorite horror films, so it's truly a great joy to jump into this main theme and make it my own in composing. Would love to hear some feedback! I have tried a few new things in this song as I continue to experiment with techniques.

I used mostly Native Instruments - Symphony Series, with support from Spitfire Audio's Originals Cinematic Soft Piano. Hope you enjoy the listen!
