Composers who work at the piano routinely capture ideas as audio , a phone recording, a quick DAW take , and then face the slow task of transcribing their own playing by ear before they can develop the material. Manual transcription of dense voicings, fast passagework, or pedalled textures can take longer than writing the piece itself.

Ivory is built specifically for that step.

What it does

Converts a piano recording (MP3 or similar) into notation in the browser : nothing to install.

Uses a model trained specifically for piano, rather than a general-purpose audio-to-MIDI converter.

Produces editable output, exportable to MusicXML (Sibelius, MuseScore, Dorico), MIDI (any DAW), and PDF.

The intended workflow: record an idea, transcribe it in Ivory, then export to your notation software or DAW and compose from a working draft rather than a blank page.

Why we focused on piano Piano is one of the harder instruments to transcribe automatically: overlapping voices, sustain pedal blurring note boundaries, fast runs, and up to ten simultaneous notes. General-purpose tools tend to struggle with exactly these cases. By narrowing the scope to piano, we handle chords, fast runs, and pedalling considerably better than the broader tools we benchmarked against.

Honest limitations

Piano-focused , not intended for full multi-instrument or orchestral arrangements.

The output is a first draft; expect to correct some rhythms, re-bar passages, and make voicing/enharmonic decisions yourself.

Free tier is capped at one minute of audio per transcription (unlimited number of transcriptions) , enough to evaluate properly on real material.

We would genuinely value feedback from composers here, both on transcription quality and on how it fits your existing notation workflow. Happy to answer questions in this thread.

Archeangel

"Archeangel," is a Fractal Fugue developed from my website: www.atonalfugue.net

The matrix is:

[0,2,9,3,7,11,4,8,10,1,5,6]

It's based on, Webern's Symphony, which has no transformations according to my theory of matrix modulation. It moves at 30 BPM, and follows Mason's rules of composition, albeit serialism, at that tempo.

Attached is a complete analysis of the numbers. You can tell, according to the galactic harmonics, how much thought was put into that matrix. I Joke. However, looking at the analysis, there are some interesting inferences:

64. It's said that we are composing the very thing that the universe's materials encompass. It's only fair to analyze it as such, too. I mean, we don't have to agree - there is room for independence in what I have to offer in the website.

So, what do the numbers mean? Numbers, are often static. When paired with music, the numbers become realized through motion. In this case, as each number permeates through a representation of music, the numbers become more viable. That's expensive to convey, and data intensive; I guess it just means that the numbers are a symphonic glade of information that is easier to ingest than learning about it.

I hope it sounds good, in any case.

Based on the acoustic signatures, I can conclude that there is a weak correlation to Dark Matter, but there is a strong correlation to Pulsar Waveform Analysis. I do like the idea of Galactic Echo Sonification, in my music too. I hope you have fun with the website, empowering your music, too.

"Jesus was Born this Day," is a hymnal song that includes, Euouae. Haven't heard the amen since the medieval times, thought I'd bring it back to present.

The chords are adventurous and don't make much sense. However, this was the palette that I wanted for artificial intelligence to include. AI, did pick up the tune very well, except for the Euouae that was wanted for Descant. Anyone know how to do that in a prompt for AI?

I'm out of ideas, I even used the braille's "In accord," to get AI to pick up the command.

Other than that, the chorus was botched to good effect, read as the melody after a vowel chant. In effect, AI made a new chorus. Overall, the song is represented well, and I am happy with that.

Enjoy!
It began with a piano performance by, Guqi. Before that, I composed the song in agnostic silence; my apartment was completely taken from me while I was in the hospital. I should have reacted 'appropriately' and fought the person that took my apartment, but instead I wrote this song.

It's my first atonal fugue. I wrote the fugue pen to paper, while my apartment was gone right there, on the spot. I gathered my thoughts, and composed the notes in order as each emotion struck my heart.

Anyway, the form is subtle. It's ABA' and the chords are the numbered set stemming from [0, 4, 6, 11] modulated in a simple way. But for brevety, you could use my website:

ATONAL FUGUE

The website will set you off on a compositional journey where the notes spiral. Try it.

Compositionally, the song was written with intense conviction of the notes rotating while each chord turns them. It's hard to recall, but if you could just sit in a room, pen with paper, and a candle; all to write music. Do it.

Suno is a blessing, I can go make a lot of music faster and reach people with the word of God in all musical genres.

Christmas is about the Lord Jesus and our mission is to spread the gospel. We can use AI for good or bad, let’s all leave a trail for the lost souls to reach heaven.
