so after watching 25 songs, carefully sang, orchestrated and produced on most level, i am only left with disgust. why? there are so many good things a composer can do besides raising the scale a half note to "increase the drama", what drama is there if everyone else does it too? the amount of originality is so lacking, everyone tries to sound like yesterday eurovision(metal versions), or catchy pop songs in english and not native language, why bother? if people don't understand what you say-why sing? wrong. the amount of ridiculous movements an artist have to go through in the performance itself, directors and choreographs can invent so many things, yet most succumb to drama-sex-cheesy dancing. so much money invested, so much talent, so much people and yet, it doesn't matter, the eurovision will forever remain, no matter its nature, its lack of artistic approach and total disregard for it, simply to satisfy an audience, who is in fact, enjoying the humiliation of the performers. instead of making it a stage for art, they make it for reality TV, yet again.
