  1. Hello, all! Here is a single movement work I wrote for string quartet. I entered this into a call for scores that a professional string quartet hosted. Out of it, I got this recording (along with 200 dollars)! Let me know what you think! Feedback always welcome!

  2. I made this a year ago as a theme for a native american-italian inspired fantasy mafioso. Tried to imagine how swing rhythm would sound like in 7/4. He had the letter "B" motif in his visual design so the chord progression was kinda made with that in mind. | BMaj7 | BDimMaj 7/A# | BMaj7/F# | Bmaj9b5/D# | BMaj7 | BMinMaj7/A# | B7/F# | BMaj6/D# | C#Min7/D# | F#Min 6/D# | EMin 7/B | BMaj7 | For solos since I'm sequencing rather than live playing (i have no instrument performance talent lol), I gave myself a time limit of 10 mins to place notes for each part with few or no takebacks and no quantization to simulate on-spot improv. and comping as much as possible.

  3. Hi all, this is my first time here. Just wanted to share this and see what kinds of things you're hearing. It's very minimal and simple (but it builds!) I have little-to-no formal music theory/training, just love making sounds :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIlrHgd85Cg

  4. Wonderful pieces! I like the contrasts between the different sententiae. Moreover, I think that you effectively used the characteristics and abilities violin.

  5. I really enjoyed hearing this. In the beginning it struggled to keep me interested at first, I guess since the introduction played longer than I was expecting, which isn't necessarily a bad thing just a personal preference of mine to see introductions shortened but it works well here. The piece is a wonderful balance between sounds of war and peace that was done very well. It wasn't too blatant and wasn't too soft either. Nicely done. When the choir came in the thing that first popped into my head was the God of War theme which I love! I couldn't help but bob my head to it as it had a smooth rhythm/hip-hop vibe mixed with epic war music. VERY GOOD. Great work with the string and brass instruments. They complimented each other well; counter-point was written splendidly. This would be great for a action scene in a film. Keep up the great work!
