  1. Hello Monarcheon. I get what you're saying. It's a homemade recording so a lot of things sometimes get mixed unintentionally. Maybe that's the case. Thanks for giving it a try though. We've got a new tune coming out next month.
  2. Thank you for giving it a try, Mark. I do agree with you that we went a little bit too far with distortion and all that. Although we were looking for a similar sound. A much cleaner version of this song is already in the works. We are trying to figure out the best way to do it.
  3. Very good song. It reminded me of Muse. Don't know if you are into them but it sounded very similar in a good way. Well done, JBegley!
  4. Lyrics: Nocturnal To adjust your rhythm The origin of your freedom Night comes to meet you there The place, the pace, you dare The black sky above you An invitation to your imagination There’s no ring or bell It’s only brightness well To keep up with time Those things that come to mind They said that you were wrong But Science cannot reply The moon stares in loneliness You should join it like the stars The morning doesn’t belong to you Though you took too long to find chorus: Don’t be afraid to show your nocturnal thing (Circadian) To show your intellect to me The old people knew Behave, have fate, embrace, be great!
  5. Hello everybody. We've got a new demo out called ''Nocturnal''. This song is about having a hard time trying to find your own ''rhythm'' in life. Hope you guys like it. CIRCADIAN RHYTHM The Latin words circa diem translate to ‘about a day’. Circadian rhythms are pretty ancient. They are a result of life that evolved on a planet that rotates over a period of 24 hours. Being able to anticipate daily environmental fluctuations is remarkably useful, hence these biological clocks are virtually ubiquitous. Disrupting them causes complications. Circadian rhythms are therefore fascinating on a molecular, medical and evolutionary level. ========================================= My previous songs:
  6. Lyrics: Em Brasília 19 horas... To find chaos and shame You don’t have to go this far Just take a look Everything is falling apart To find chaos and shame You just have to turn on the news The president is dead That shouldn’t have been so cruel You may find hope In a blind spot The lies are laying down And you people has been cursed Get out of my way You’re the one to blame (Shame! Shame!) I sure don’t need your greed And you can’t ask for mercy chorus: There’s no way to run There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close There’s no way to know There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close To find chaos and shame What happened to progress? You’ve betrayed the nation With your promises To find chaos and shame Just pull the trigger Your time is up... chorus: There’s no way to run There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close There’s no way to know There’s no way to go If I saw you Standing so close Para o povo liberdade Para o Brasil democracia
  7. Hello everybody. I usually don't write about this particular subject but I couldn't help it. Here it goes a political statement about something really wrong. Take it for what it is. ==================================================================== My previous songs:
  8. Thank you fro the detailed review, Monarcheon. I really appreciate. I just disagree with you about this song being more progressive rock. The synths I used was trying to get a horn section effect. I do not have the resources right now to do it with real players and real instruments. That's just the idea. As pointed by one hard core Elvis' fan this song reminded him a lot of ''Patch It Up''. And he sure was right. I tried to add some elements from his songs and put my feeling into it but I wasn't paying attention to one song in specific.
  9. Hi guys. This is a song I wrote called ''The Boy from Memphis''. It's still in demo status but I really wanted to share it with Elvis' fans (I guess we've got a few around here). A humble homage to one of the greatest singers of all time. Hope you enjoy: Delicious Grace - The Boy From Memphis ==================================================== My previous song: https://www.youngcomposers.com/t35836/new-sound-delicious-grace/
  10. Hi ilv. Thank you for listening to my song. I'm glad you liked some of it. The second half of the song came in like a spiritual thing. I didn't plan for that but the song, for me, kept asking for more and that's how it all came along. I really enjoy the outcome of it. Just to let you guys know. We're going to record some new stuff in the months to come. I'll let you know as soon as we're done.
  11. Thank you very much for taking the time to listen to it and the patient for the detailed reply. We're really struggling to get our sound right. It's difficult because we have our normal jobs and stuff. But we're going to give our best. The stuff with the vocal we are aware of. It's now one of the main goals we got. We really improved since this last recording. There's more layers, more calmness to sing. A lot of the pressure has been dissipated thanks to the good reviews we are receiving. it encourages us a lot. As soon as the next song is ready and online I'll let you guys know. Thank you again.
  12. Thank you for taking the time to listen to it. I'm aware of the situaiton with the vocal but at the time of this recording there was only one guy who could sing and he did his best. Almost everything your hear on this song is first take. We had little studio time to make it happen. But I'm glad you liked some of it. This song is very special to me. We're currently working on new songs and those will sound a lot better I guarantee you.
  13. Hello guys, first time posting a song here. That's a project I started not long time ago where I write all the music and lyrics in english (I'm a native portuguese speaker). It's very intimate, genuine but I'm not a pro. Any feedback would be good. Hope you like it:
