  1. The piece begins with a cadenza and then transform into a beautiful piece about the line between life and death. You should hear the voices of past people as this piece grows. There's much more I have to add to this, but for a start, I'm happy with it.
  2. This is a set of preludes I composed and recorded for the piano, and the set tells the narrative of a maritime journey, detailing the calm sea, the time spent on the ship, the lighthouse on land, the seabirds, and finally the port. I made these pieces the bulk of my newest album, and it can be found here. Thanks, and let me know what you think.
  3. Hi! I'm new to this site, and I'm not here for myself. I joined this site for my friend who is an amazing pianist and insane at improvisation. He is very good, and what I upload here, with his permission, is pure improvisation. I think that if you give the music a nice amount of feedback, he will have more motivation to compose and improvise more, and I will upload more here. Please listen closely to these audio files from my friend and please give me/him some feedback on his playing. The feedback can be either good or bad. I just want him to be heard, and given feedback to. Piano improv. 2.mp3Piano improv. 3.mp3 Piano improv. 1.mp3 Thanks!!
  4. A filmic composition that uses both classical and jazz motifs.
  5. Hi all. I'm new to the group and would love some feedback on my first upload. If this forum would prefer uploads directly to this site, rather than linking to SoundCloud, please let me know. 6. I wrote this composition for flute, clarinet in B and bassoon. I produced the track as a live performance simulation with few sound effects, tweeks... Enjoy.
  7. This is the first time in a while that I've written something in swing rhythm specifically, but it seemed to call for it. It turned out to be a combo of contemporary/classical/jazz — I don't think there's a good label for it. I did use sacred geometry in this piece, which I'm doing all the time now, and seems to be working our pretty well. I'm open to any feedback or thoughts you have.
  8. Hello good people!! I would like to know what you think about my new piano piece, especially about the different theme changes and atmosphere. Did I get it right?? 🙂 🙂
  9. Hey all! It's been a while since I posted anything, but I thought I'd mark my return with this new piece! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlqDGZ5r0uw I hope you like it! Dan
  10. Hello everyone, I'm back, this is the piece I newly composed, hope you like it.
  11. My work for an afternoon quick sketch. I liked the idea that occurs at 9, so I played around with an idea: how much does it really matter what I compose in the "middle" if I always bring it back to a common idea the listener can grasp hold of? I'm going to try a few more in this vein, we'll see if it pans out for me. Comments welcome - especially if I did something wrong in my writing for guitar. Thanks, Gustav
  12. Nenad Prokopiev - Four short stories for piano.pdfThe full suit. I like to work with different styles this have more classical approach. The sheet is attached to the post, enjoy.
  13. Hi all 🙂 I composed this second study straight in a row after the first. I'm rather more satisfied with it. Please let me know what you think ; I also share the PDF if interested. Thanks for listening 🙂
  14. Hi all 😉 I tried here to go symphonic (more used to chamber ensembles). Just let me know what you think Regards

  16. Work in progress! Well... so this year is my graduation recital and I wanted to finish with something "big" (Yeah, some weirdly restriction that limits the amount of musicians we can have on the recital) Scored for a chamber Orchestra. Every comment is helpful! 1 Flute 1 Oboe 1 Clarinet 1 Bassoon 2 Horns Strings
  17. Hello. I have question about solo bass singer. How low can a bass sing and yet be able to maintain a full resonating Fortissimo? For example, could it have the same Fortissimo low D (D2) as a Bassoon playing it in low D? Thank you.
  18. A small concerto (concertino) in a movement. It has a classical style mixed with a "romantic orchestration" It was composed back in 2015 for a 2016 premiere with the High school Concert Band from Escuela Libre de Musica The composition has some novice errors hehe, also I'm conducing, so I apologize for the dancing. I included the audio .midi and the premiere back in 2016 with the Escuela Libre de Musica Concert Band and Angel Cuyar as soloist. As always, feedback is welcomed!
  19. Winner of the 2018 Puertorrican Danza contest Composed for Woodwind quintet it's inspired by my beautiful baby niece! Hope you guys like it and any comments are welcomed!
  20. Greetings again my composer friends! Here is one of my more complex pieces that I've written. Undertaking a big orchestral score is quite the challenge, so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on improving songs like these. Enjoy! Chronicles of My Past
  21. Small piano piece influenced by Puerto Rican rythm from the folk mountains mixed with an "classical" language.
  22. This is a "light" music symphony. It's inspired by the European danceable music. The Scherzo (Danza, Mov. 3) it's made in a folcklore music genre from Puerto Rico (which is where I live) Any opinion and critics are welcomed. I. Andante - Tempo di Valse II. Adagio III. Danza IV. Con brio
  23. Hello everyone, I'm coming back, this is my new piece, hope you like it.
  24. Hello, all! Here is a single movement work I wrote for string quartet. I entered this into a call for scores that a professional string quartet hosted. Out of it, I got this recording (along with 200 dollars)! Let me know what you think! Feedback always welcome!
  25. Hey! I'm back with another piano piece. The original idea was the loss of a loved one. Please, share it with your friends if you like it. :) https://soundcloud.com/j-r-mie-lhomme/impromptu-in-f-minor-well-meet-again Have a great day! Jérémie Lhomme
