  1. Nikolaos Dimopoulos - Aria Of Shadows Hi everyone! I am new here and I am very happy to join this forum! As a new member I'm hungry for honest feedback! So, this is one composition of mine with choirs, orchestra and a fast waltz finale! Good listening!
  2. Finally, This is the completed 30 Minutes of Action Music I have been composing for a long time. Mostly composed using Ableton the 30 minutes includes suspense and almost frightening like build ups. It includes very sudden or "exciting" key changes that reminds everyone of the peak of an action movie or a war movie, going up a minor 3rd interval in a huge key change C to Eflat for example can give the audience a real engaging rush. Going up a semi tone like a key change builds tension if written appropriately, it must be composed very carefully to achieve this "EPIC" thrilling key change. Then changing up a full tone. changing keys up a tone if done well can give a simular effect however relies heavily on orchestration and careful phasing from the instruments to resolve/build the suspense up a tone.
  3. This is an Action Suite I composed, it uses mostly brass with heavy string sections.
  4. Hello! I was commissioned to write an orchestra piece, and I have just finished my first draft of the piece. I would like to hear your comments/criticism. Keep in mind, I have a 3.5 minute max time (with a 10-15 minute rehearsal time, as it is for a summer concert), and I wanted to fit in as many textures and ideas as I could with easy to rehearse parts. A big part of my style is to create "samplers" of the many ideas I have and focus less on making it a completely cohesive "piece." I use a few melodies/bits that stay present throughout and build upon those. Thank you, and if you take the time to reply to my piece I am more than happy to take the time to comment on one of yours 🙂 Enjoy!
  5. This is my first time making this kind of music so any comments and feedbacks are appreciated!
  6. Hi everyone! I've been thinking about writing some stuff for fantasy inspired settings (like WoW, Skyrim etc.). I've come up with these ideas and there were quite a few of them, and thus I decided to put them all together in one suite. Any feedback is appreciated!
  7. Hi everyone! I just wrote this piece for an orchestra that I was thinking could be used as a theme to some kind of sci-fi adventure set in space. Have a listen to it! Any comments and/or feedback are greatly appreciated since I am a self-taught composer! I'll attach the PDF with the score to the post. Here is the piece itself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2Z3axY6f_Y Hope you'll enjoy it!
  8. Hey, I made this track for a little game. It´s something like the anno games. I would appreciate it if you could give me your opinion on my track. I would like to know how good or bad it is. https://youtu.be/HzPDoonJ5gA

  10. https://soundcloud.com/syadeu/stranger I just wrote some epic orchestral starting with synth and foley, still struggling with the transition before becomes aggressive. It takes about 2 weeks I guess? and I do really love hearing you guys feedback! Thanks!
  11. hello guys this is my new song i hope you like it! any criticism is welcome.
  12. It's a planet earth-y style orchestral piece. I've got my own theories, but fresh ears are always a huge plus! Don't hold back:
  13. Hello everybody! So I wanted to make a new music video again but thought I'd get some comments about the song first. It's a bit older again so it's actually the first time I'm asking for feedback on this one. Without telling much I'll just throw in the song. Hope you can enjoy it 😊
  14. So here's another older piece I wrote some years ago which needs some feedback. Wanted to also add that I'm really bad with giving names but I think this name fits well 🤔 I hope you'll enjoy it 😁
  15. Hi, my name is Tanju Demirhan. I'm new to the forum and thought I'd just introduce myself and show you one of my favorite compositions. I'm a selftaught componist, living in Antalya/TURKEY. Actually a guitarrist and certified educator of advanced guitar techniques. I'm writing music for a couple of years already but I never managed to reach many listeners or people that would want to use my music in production. Any feedback would be really nice since I'm trying to really get professional on that. For now - Thank you for listening 😁
  16. Hello musician friends ! I'm all new on that forum, and I decided to share with you this little composition of mine which is orchestral with a bit of metal. I'm not very experienced as a composer since I started composing orchestral music 1year ago, only by ear and without any musical theory. ...And I started composing on Fl Studio 5 months ago. I hope you will like it, and do not hesitate to tell me what is good and what is not in my music ! I wish you all a nice day !
  17. hello guys this is my new song i hope you like it! any criticism is welcome
  18. hello guys ! this is my new song!! i hope you like it! any criticism is welcome!
  19. Cinematic track I created. This is my first post here. I really need a second opinion on the tracks I create. What do you think?
  20. This is a music about Chronos, the lord of the time. I hope, you will like it! Let me know your opinion!
  21. Short epic style piece of mine, i was testing some choirs and it turns out very well.
  22. A year ago, I arranged the Divine Beast Vah Ruta battle theme from Zelda: Breath of the Wild for piano, by ear. This was my first major arrangement of a piece for piano. Here is the original: And here's my arrangement of the theme: And here's the score (yes, I know that some parts need to be moved around; this is not the final version of the sheet music): Copy of Zelda Breath of the Wild_ Divine Beast Vah Ruta.pdf I know the chords aren't exactly the same --- this was intentional, as I preferred certain chord progressions to the ones chosen by the original composer (like in measures 18-19). The feedback I've gotten so far is basically that the harmonies and arpeggios sound pleasant, but that it would be difficult (if not impossible) to play using two hands. I tried playing it on my keyboard, and yeah, I can attest to that. I'm also aware that the dynamics are kinda weird; I tried to do the best I could to get it to sound the way it sounded in my head. Does anyone have advice on how to make this more playable? Because I don't exactly want to get rid of any of the extra embellishments I added. Should I make it even more complex and make it for four hands, or remove parts to make it for two hands?
  23. This is my first time I am composing a piece for so many instruments so any feedback would be very helpful. I hope you will like it. P.S: This score is the third part of my series of scores called The Legend of Nabhi. You can also listen to the first two parts if you want.
