I would probably write it for a traditional big band... would you need me to adapt it so the non standard instruments could play? (I would probably use all the saxes, clarinets, maybe some flutes, definitly trombones and trumpets, plus the standard rhythm section) so, if the oboes and others that I didn't mention just took a break for a while, would they mind? I've got a big jazz composer's thing happening on friday, and this week I'm gonna be busy getting the band(s) at school set up.
