Are recordings required?

ahh sorry, no live recording is required but will be accepted, pdf,mus(2008 or lower), or mp3's only.

As long as there is a some form of score, but recordings such as mus or mp3 would be greatly appreciated

Well, there's an easy way to follow the rules. Just take two dices, throw them often enough for all the parameters you wish, and finally you're done with an aleatoric piece!

Would this be acceptable?

Alteatoric =/= atonal

atonal =/= aleatoric

I mean, you could be using a chance process on a diatonic set with parameters which keeps a particular pitch in each roll or something. Please don't pay attention to what the YC Wiki says about atonality as it is wrong. Please read consult these books and sites...
