Im pretty sure more people are going to write on it. Nico and some other people said they were going to write some.

Yes, but the other people who said they would pitch in are not coming for at least two weeks; Nico is at Italy, I dunno where Marius is, and Austin is at band camp, so don't you think we should get started on another piece for right now? We can always go back to the other one when they come back.

1. List of people helping

2. Instrumentation: ie. brass quartet, solo piano, flute and oboe, ect.

3. Structure/style: ie. sonata(classical), fugue(barouqe), toccata, free-form, ect.

4. Key and time signature

5. Order of who goes when

-------------------------------

I think we should do the above process in order, for a more organized piece.

I think structure is pretty much goign to be ignored, because so many people have their own ideas. Maybe there should be another forum where people can start their own and make their own instrumentations and keys and such.

That'd be way better.

1. I'm helping.

2. Wind Quartet - Bassoon, Clarinet in Bb, 2 x oboes? That alright?

3. Haha. . . structure . . . that's silly!

4. Key . . . we had one flat last time so let's go with 1 sharp this time . . . last one minor this one major . . . voila! G major!!!

5. I'm going fourth!

These are my suggestions, are they ok?

If I may be allowed to suggest anything, if you're going to disregard form, make sure the transitions are smooth if you want a coherent piece >.<

I liked the ending of the piece.

You guys are starting to annoy me. This is why committees should never be allowed to make decisions; it takes forever.

I liked the ending of the piece.

Me too; that's where the sound stopped and I could unplug my ears again.

So I'm being a bit of a dictator (of music, in this case) and getting you started. I've ignored all previous junk and taken the liberty of making a beginning for you to work with. It's for woodwind quintet, in G Major; as suggested by Mr. Toccata. The oboes are scored as seperate staves because I think it makes more sense to use them very independantly if you bother having 2 of them.

Have at it and enjoy. And don't make it suck.
