SergeOfArniVillage
I have a nice piano VST and am willing to convert your midi for you for the delicious price of $0.00 dollars  If you want an example of how it sounds -- http://www.box.net/shared/a99v6jcs0o (One of Woodruff's older pieces that really benefited from a make-over) http://www.box.net/shared/kf5fl7hrp3 (MP3) or http://www.box.net/shared/vfdr1yos5z (MP3) Go ahead -- give me your well-articulated midi for processing, preferably in Box links for downloading.
Peter_W.
I don't know, man... money's tight these days... what program do you use?
jrcramer
Are you willing to add articulation, and human-generated tempo and dynamics changes? If so I have an old MIDI for you.
SergeOfArniVillage
Peter: I'm using an Ivory VST -- it's a 17 GB sample. I'm pretty much in love with it  Jr Cramer: Nope. These are things the composer must do. However, an exception is if the original midi's articulation isn't played back correctly (either being exaggerated or under-played) on the program. I'll do my best to fix it then. But if it's just a blank midi file with the notes, I'm not going to fix it up.

SergeOfArniVillage
Update -- I may possibly be unable to do this service after February 1st  So I'm setting this deadline of February 1st for this service. Don't wait!
jawoodruff
Awww ty, Zach. I didn't even see that you did this to my piece. I'll look and see if I have any midi's that might benefit from this! Thanks!
ChsBt0ne
Oh, wow, this is a really great thing you're doing here! Here's some midis of my favorite things I've composed for Piano: Eden and the two songs that were originally going to be put in a suite with it, but got put in a different suite because they changed slightly - Senza Restizioni (originally titled Elysium) and March (originally titled Valhalla, and then Limbo when in turned into a March, and then it got put into a different suite) from my Music Theory Suite. SergeOfArniVillage
ChsBt0ne: Ok! Got the midi :) Here they are when converted with my VST. http://www.box.net/shared/xu6laoscrd (Eden MP3) http://www.box.net/shared/nukx4m0jqq (Elysium MP3) http://www.box.net/shared/344i4ik9xr (March [Limbo] MP3) Hope you enjoy

This is neither present in my .mus file nor the midi I gave you. Otherwise, I love it, especially the fact that, in Eden, the piano almost sounds like a harp to me, because I was originally going to write it for harp, but then faced that fact that it would probably never be performed live that way (on Piano I can at least get my Music Theory teacher to play it). Also, I know nothing about writing for harp. And, if you have the time, I'd like conversions of the other two movements of my Music Theory Suite. Sorry if I ask a lot, but except for that one tiny little mistake, the files are pretty much perfect. SergeOfArniVillage
OK Chorale?! That's a funny name. Here's the mp3s of the VST performing: http://www.box.net/shared/qhoqoc4i2k (OK Chorale MP3) http://www.box.net/shared/jmza21hdd3 (Contrapunctus MP3) Again, enjoy

SergeOfArniVillage
Hi Serge, Here's mine if you get a chance to get around to it. Thanks! bkho I'm sorry, my programs don't really like this particular midi file for some reason  I find it odd that the midi file is over 40 MBs! Is there another way to make the midi file in a more ... "normal" way? They're usually much smaller.
bkho
weird, I'll try to figure that out. Thanks for trying! xrsbit
Can you do one for me too? I'll give you the file later. I'm posting this as to not pass the deadline.

SergeOfArniVillage
Ian -- I'll see what I can do -- I've got your midi file, but the host program I was using has expired (Cantabile Performer), so I'll see if I can get another one that also works. All the other's I've tried would export, but the pedal effects for sustaining notes would not be there
SergeOfArniVillage
You're in luck! Since you don't change the BPM or tempo through-out your piece, I was able to use Energy XT to host the VST and make your piece. http://www.box.net/shared/ghrf0jijv7 (MP3) Okay. I didn't write it. Soooo, is this not your piece? :hmmm:
