Marzique Bordex
I have an honest question. What are you alls purpose in music here at YC? Do you make money out of it, do you plan to make money in the future? I would appreciate the top-bottom status in YC regarding this question. Thank you for your time.

Austenite
I don't really expect to make a lot of money from music (there's almost zero chance of getting it in my country). But if that was randomly to happen, I wouldn't complain.
SYS65
This is the site where you realize how bad you are, you first get upset, then kinda understand, then learn to improve, then you get right the opposite of comments you used to get, then you're too good to remain here and leave... how much time does this takes ? depends on you.
Morivou
This is the site where you realize how bad you are, you first get upset, then kinda understand, then learn to improve, then you get right the opposite of comments you used to get, then you're too good to remain here and leave... how much time does this takes ? depends on you. It is this. :) But, it's not 100% true. Marius's music, Robin's music, and a couple of others are published and writing and making "money". But, for the general population: It is this. Austenite
^ Totally agree. Although there are exceptions to SYS65's "rule" - i.e. when your work has already obvious quality and gets possitive reviews from the start (I'm thinking Sojar Voglar as a shining example). maestrowick
As one of the older ones (maybe the oldest), I enjoy talking about music. This is a place where I can be myself. How many places are there where you can talk about nerd-like details of composing? It has also been a pleasure getting to know other people across the world like Phil, Jason, Justin, Robert, Daniel, and Tyler (just to name a few.) As far as my composing, this has been a place where I can show scores to people who understand what I am trying to do and catch a mistake or two. I enjoy my time here on Young Composers Forum!
