Osbuurn
Just as the title says.. I'm serious about improving, and would love somebody to listen to the five pieces I have completed. I'm willing to take any kind of criticism - as long as it makes me better - I don't care. :)

Monojin
Probably not relevant to the OP's interest, but I'm always interested in people knowledgeable or learning about modal counterpoint or renaissance/medieval music in general.

MuseScience
Counterpoint is something I need to grasp if I wish to grow. Working with an instructor is always good, but learning on your own gives you some good habits as well, of which I'm sure you're aware. (It's Nick from noteflight btw). Also, if you want to learn counterpoint better, I suggest buying Fux's Study of Counterpoint from his Gradus Ad Parnassum - it worked wonders for me in learning the basics of all species counterpoint. :)

He's a boring lecturer who inspired centuries of joyless pedagogy, and he's not even historically correct. (I like his compositions, though) And after starting this flamewar, I think you'll see that I'm a bad influence :P
pateceramics
Fux is available online for free if you want to check him out.

He was bashing the beginnings of classicism in his work, of which I wasn't happy about, but I thought very amusing! xD
