Youtube Networking?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I've recently put a video on YouTube (the inevitable plug being: https://goo.gl/mGV8pl).
Since I am only one person, I can do very little to promote my work.

So, what I propose is this:  if other YCers have their own music videos on YouTube, why don't we create a joint playlist linking to each of our accounts, making it easier for people to find our music on YouTube?

I recall that a member here (I forget who and whether he/she is still active or not) did try something like this a few years ago by creating a channel on youtube where members submitted their works and later he or she would post them on the channel.  It wasn't an official youngcomposers channel but the majority of the submissions were from members.  I don't know we could try reviving something like this.

BTW, love the video and the piece!  You have a new subscriber :) .

Cheers dude!

Yeah, whatever we choose to do, what would be good is to keep only one version of each video on YouTube. For example, I would upload a sonata on my channel and then, through some witchcraft, the same video can be linked to this new account / playlist (whichever way is best). Then if someone listened to a piece in a shared YC playlist on YouTube, then another piece by another YCer would autoplay afterwards! Everyone should get more views and subscribers. Genius!  :P
