Hi

Repetition and variation. They are the essentials of this style of composition (baroque-classic).

I mean, the Prelude can take  many Forms: binary song, ternary song, song with trio, different types of "rondó", etc... If you compose in such a classic style, using the great Forms help to organise your work = repetition and variation.

This piece seems to be a kind of ABCD structure, (perhaps the final section reminds to the first one). This is like a "rhapsody", where you write parts and parts, without repeating material. But this is not a classic Form. It's more a late-romantic (I would say) Form.

Of course, you can do whatever you want. But when the language is 100% tonal, like this, your work will surely benefit from the Forms. I spent some weeks studying Forms (it's amazing) and I learned a lot...

It sounds nice, I just have a couple issues with some of your contrapuntal stuff; some of your passing tones conflict with a harmonic tone and other times your suspended tones clash with the bass line, mostly in your Andante section (i.e. m. 40 and 43).
