This is an old-ish string piece I have been working on, but have fallen to composer's block (as has happened for the past 2 years ) - I'd love to hear any ideas about how I could develop the piece, as my development skills are extremely poor! It seems like you have something of a sonata format going on with the pizz part and it seems to be revolving around taking expectations away from the major 7th chords which I enjoy. Things seemed to be stitched together pretty well though, in my opinion, I'm curious as to why you think differently. From there, resolve to the high note then do like a polytonal descending line with a progression based on the melody, perhaps, but you've honestly got something pretty good here.
