Hey guys so this is a piece that I'm working on at the moment that's supposed to be an oriental sounding sorta thing. I've gotten two main themes but I have no idea what else to add to keep it interesting or how I'm going to reintroduce the themes I already have. This is my first try at this sort of sound so I would love any points to work on and if you have ideas about what to add or change please let me know ;)

I feel like to most audiences it would sound pretty good. It certainly sounds like it'd fit in a pseudo-Asian game like Journey or something.
It's not the most authentic-sounding, I'd say, though, but it's not really a problem either. It's not really noticeable, but you use every note of the minor scale without any altered tones.
Very sparing, but intriguing use of 7th chords for the unnatural 6th of the scale, and it drives throughout.

I have nothing to add onto what Monarcheon had mentioned but as a listener I must post to express how awesome I thought the build up to 0:43 was. It sounded thoroughly unique in a way where the drums played a major roll.

The high points here are fascinating.

Towards the end there it sounded as if it was heading into another high point. Is it possible to basically assemble the instruments used in the last two high points and basically create something even more epic and thriving than the previous two?
