So, @danishali903 called for solo viola pieces. Here are my 2 cents.

I really hope the double-stops in the second piece are not uncomfortable to play :D

In fact, all those legatures of the second piece can be ignored and substituted by whatever you think is more idiomatic and executable.

Nice. I like both of them. Some quick thoughts

Movement 1: This one is sweet, though I think that it could use a slight extra push to make it really grab you - something like a noteworthy key shift or interval that you can really milk to give it a bit more variation. Also I feel the ending F to G feels a little anticlimactic. I would probably make it an octave for extra resonance (maybe even have it be regular F to G first time, then octave second time around).

Movement 2:

Nice job on these double stops. It actually transitions nicely fingering wise from 1st to 2nd to 3rd position in the first section. The last five measures I think are a little obnoxious shifting wise, but are doable.

1. Ending on what's technically the dominant at the end was confusing. Some altered tendency tones don't resolve correctly.
2. The double stops in the beginning are expected to utilize reverse open strings. Awkward but playable. There is a lot of shifting involved which might intrude on the overall lengthy quality of the movement.

- What do you mean by "don't resolve correctly"? What is the correct way to do something like this?

1. Measure 9 of mvt 1, for example, you almost resolve the F# with an appoggiatura but make a leap down instead.

2.  I guess I just saw no reason to not resolve back to what tonally seemed like the tonic of the movement. Do what you will; nothing is "wrong" with it. I just found it awkward to hear.

1st impressions after sight reading:

I really liked both of the pieces! Technically not too demanding, and they give the performer some freedom to express the music. I think the waltz piece can be developed a bit more, it just feels too short.

The double stops in the waltz are playable...yet really awkward. The most difficult of these is in measures 6 and 7 (and whenever it repeats towards the end)...as I said playable, but VERY weird fingering-wise.

I'll definitely record this...as soon as I can play this a little better!

Still haven't mastered it completely (especially the waltz), but here is a recording I made while playing stuff. Not the best, but you'll get the general idea.
